Ramallah - Saba:
At dawn on Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest and raid campaign targeting dozens of Palestinians across the West Bank, amidst an escalation in violence and a comprehensive closure of roads and entrances.
The occupation forces arrested 10 citizens from the city of Qalqilya after storming its neighborhoods and vandalizing their homes. They also raided the town of Azzun and hung warning leaflets. In Ramallah, five citizens from the town of Birzeit, including freed prisoners, were arrested. One house was converted into a military barracks.
The arrests also included 14 citizens in Salfit and 16 others in Hebron, including children and an elderly person. A young man was also arrested in Jerusalem and raided surrounding towns.
In Jenin, the occupation forces raided the towns of Burqin and Ya'bad, raided homes, and conducted field investigations. They also surrounded the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, preventing entry and exit, and turning homes into military checkpoints.
This campaign comes amid the ongoing tight blockade of the West Bank for the sixth consecutive day, transforming it into a "large prison" following the recent escalation with Iran.
