The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlad, met on Monday with the president of the Shabab Malah Sports, Cultural, and Social Club in Al-Arsh District, Al-Bayda Province, Mohammed Al-Saeedi.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Deputy Minister, Dr. Jaber Al-Bawab, and the President of Al-Bayda University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami. Minister Al-Mawlad listened to a report from the club president regarding the club's conditions, its key activities in sports, cultural, and social fields, the main challenges it faces, the essential needs required to expand its programs and achieve its goals.
Minister Al-Mawlad praised the efforts of Shabab Malah Club’s administration in revitalizing youth and sports activities in the district. He emphasized the importance of enhancing community awareness programs in clubs, particularly rural clubs, which serve as fertile ground for building a conscious and active generation that contributes to serving society and the nation.
He affirmed the pivotal role clubs play in nurturing young people, developing their talents, instilling values, and fostering a spirit of initiative. The Minister urged club administrations to redouble their efforts and take full responsibility in activating regular and sustainable activities, contributing to the clubs' developmental, awareness-raising, and custodial roles within society.
At the end of the meeting, the president of Shabab Malah Club honored Minister Al-Mawlad in recognition of his efforts in supporting and sponsoring clubs, as well as his continuous interest in promoting youth and sports activities across various governorates.
Additionally, the club's administration honored Dr. Al-Arami, President of Al-Bayda University, in appreciation of his ongoing support for the club’s activities and his fruitful cooperation with youth groups in the region. Businessman Mohammed Al-Yadoumi was also honored for his role in sponsoring the club’s activities and supporting its annual sports league, which includes clubs from Al-Bayda and neighboring provinces. The tenth edition of the league is expected to launch in the near future.
