China's fixed-asset investment rose 3.7 percent year-on-year in the first five months of 2025, according to official data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Monday.
China's Xinhua News Agency reported that excluding the real estate sector, the country's fixed-asset investment grew 7.7 percent year-on-year during the period.
Infrastructure investment rose 5.6 percent year-on-year, while manufacturing investment increased 8.5 percent.
Across sectors, investment in the agricultural sector grew 8.4 percent year-on-year, while investment in the industrial sector rose 11.4 percent. The services sector saw a 0.4 percent decline in investment.
