Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, accompanied by Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, inspected the level of work discipline at the Ministries of Transport and Public Works and Oil and Minerals on the first workday following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
During his visit to the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, where he met with Minister Mohammed Qahim, undersecretaries, heads of affiliated units, and general directors, Al-Rahwi praised the high attendance rate, which reflects awareness and a sense of responsibility toward public service.
He noted that state administrative leaders and employees continue to perform their duties despite the ongoing aggression, siege, and their repercussions on daily life. The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to translating the directives of Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi—expressed in his speeches on Wilayah Day and other occasions—into actionable programs.
Al-Rahwi stressed that addressing accumulated challenges in the administrative apparatus requires collective efforts, gradual solutions, and clear, systematic plans. He highlighted the necessity of completing the automation of administrative and service work in this sector to keep pace with modern technology, alongside continuous performance evaluations to improve efficiency.
In his remarks, the Prime Minister affirmed the right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to defend itself against Zionist aggression, praising the effective missile strikes carried out by the Iranian armed forces against the usurping Zionist enemy, which destroyed numerous vital targets. He dismissed as baseless the Zionist enemy’s propaganda regarding the alleged targeting of Chief of Staff Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghabari.
Al-Rahwi condemned any defense of Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and its aggression against Iran, calling such positions unacceptable.
For his part, Minister Al-Hawali appreciated the Prime Minister’s efforts to monitor work discipline in public service units. He explained that the ministry has a unified human resources system comprising 16 components, four of which are currently operational, with efforts underway to activate the rest. This system eliminates traditional bureaucratic procedures and provides daily feedback on employee performance.
Al-Hawali noted that the system generates comprehensive daily reports on work discipline, performance evaluations, payroll processing, and self-service features, urging other ministries and institutions to adopt it promptly.
Meanwhile, Minister of Transport and Public Works Qahim reviewed indicators of work discipline in his ministry and its affiliated units, confirming full staff attendance. He emphasized ongoing coordination with the Ministry of Civil Service to complete network connectivity and automation projects, streamlining procedures and enhancing performance evaluation.
During his visit to the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, where he met with Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, Deputy Minister Mohammed Al-Najjar, undersecretaries, and general directors, Al-Rahwi commended the ministry’s inclusion in the automated preparation program under the Ministry of Civil Service’s network linkage initiative. He praised the oil and transport ministries’ efforts to mitigate the effects of Zionist aggression on vital facilities in Hodeida.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to rebuilding what was destroyed by the American, Israeli, and British enemies while continuing to support the resistance in Gaza and standing with Iran against blatant aggression.
He denounced rhetoric that serves Zionist interests, applauding the humanitarian aid convoys to Gaza and Pakistan’s clear stance in solidarity with Iran. Al-Rahwi expressed confidence in Iran’s ability to defend itself and defeat the arrogant enemy, asserting that imperialist powers are hastening their own demise.
He also welcomed the reopening of the Al-Dhale' road for travelers between Sana’a, Aden, and other provinces, calling it a significant step for citizens’ convenience.
Minister of Oil and Minerals Al-Amir reported positive work discipline levels in his ministry and affiliated entities, highlighting progress in automation to simplify procedures , enhance internal communication and performance evaluation.
