Taiz – Saba:
Taiz governorate on Thursday saw a diverse range of activities, including a symposium, cultural evenings, and speech events, all held to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah.
A cultural symposium, organized by the Guidance Sector in Taiz and Sala districts, took place at Bilal bin Rabah Mosque in al-Jand area. It addressed three themes: the nation's reality and the catastrophe of enemy allegiance, Imam Ali as a just and unifying figure, and lessons from the Day of al-Wilayah.
Concurrently, residents of al-Janadeyah al-Ulya area in al-Taezeyah organized a cultural evening. Speakers, including Shura Council member Salah Bajash and Deputy Governor Abdulwasea al-Shamsi, emphasized al-Wilayah as a significant principle with real-life impacts, particularly in education and culture. They noted that losing faith in Imam Ali's al-Wilayah equates to losing connection with the Prophet.
Members of the 149th Reserve Brigade in Sabr al-Mawadim and al-Mesrakh districts also held a cultural evening, stressing the importance of commemorating al-Wilayah and instilling its values.
Additionally, Taiz Emergency and Anti-Smuggling Forces branch organized a speech event.
Speakers at this event explained that commemorating the Day of al-Wilayah revives the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, marking the day of religion's perfection and the completion of blessings.
These events were attended by various officials, including mobilization officers, security leaders, directors, and social figures from across the governorate
