Cultural evenings were held on Wednesday in al-Badw, al-Salami, and al-Shuwaifa sub-districts in Khadir district, Taiz governorate, to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah (Guardianship) under the slogan "Whoever I am his master, then this Ali is his master."
Attended by Shura Council member Mohammed Hanash and other local officials, these events took place in various squares, including Al-Rahibah, Al-Damna, Al-Haqeeba, and Najd Mara. Speeches emphasized the religious significance of the Day of al-Wilayah and the high status of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
Speakers highlighted the importance of instilling the principle of guardianship in the nation's hearts, noting that Imam Ali's guardianship is a continuous example and guidance, protecting the nation from division, misguidance, and the influence of tyrants.
The speakers stressed that sincere allegiance, as commanded by God, safeguards the nation from its enemies. The virtues, struggle, and Quranic morals of Imam Ali, nurtured by the Prophet, were also highlighted, with speakers explaining that the nation's current weakness stems from its neglect of this divine principle
