Bayda governor Abdullah Idris on Tuesday met with sheikhs and social figures from al-Madhuqin al-Wahash Subdistrict in Bayda countryside district.
The meeting, attended by Deputy Governor Yahya Al Mansouri and various military and security leaders, saw Governor Idris convey Eid al-Adha congratulations from the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council. He praised the significant role of the people of Madhuqin Subdistrict and Al Bayda Countryside in supporting the armed forces and confronting "takfiri forces and mercenaries of aggression" who had attempted to reach the provincial capital.
The Governor affirmed the local authority's commitment to implementing development and service projects in the district, including completing the road linking Madhuqin, Mukayras, and Bayda city to ease travel for residents.
He also lauded the revolutionary leadership's steadfast and honorable stance in supporting the Palestinian people and the Yemeni armed forces' qualitative military operations against the Zionist entity in response to crimes in Gaza.
For their part, Madhuqin al-Wahash sheikhs affirmed their high readiness to support security, stability, social peace, confront aggression, and continue mobilization for the Palestinian cause.
