Hajjah – Saba:
A preparatory meeting was held on Wednesday in Hajjah governorate Center, gathering dignitaries, scholars, and educators to organize activities for the upcoming Day of al-Wilayah (Guardianship) commemoration.
Participants, including MP Dr. Ahmed Nassar and Mobilization Officer Hamoud al-Maghribi, stressed the critical importance of mobilizing society to consolidate the Quranic principle of Wilayah.
They highlighted the role of preachers and cultural figures in educating the public about sincere allegiance to God, Prophet Muhammad, and Imam Ali.
The meeting called for a broad societal engagement in the commemoration, urging poets, writers, media professionals, and cultural talents to revive popular heritage linked to Imam Ali.
Dr. Nassar emphasized that the Day of Guardianship is an extension of the divine message, a primary reason for victory, and a fortification against destructive ideas.
He explained that Yemenis' celebration of guardianship is a cherished inheritance, stemming from their deep faith and historical connection to Imam Ali since their conversion to Islam.
Judge Abdulmajeed Sharaf al-Din further elaborated on the significance of sincere allegiance to Imam Ali, asserting that guardianship is intrinsically linked to the Prophetic message.
Sharaf al-Din noted that Imam Ali's faith-based upbringing by the Prophet is well-documented, and God commanded obedience to the guardian of the matter.
He underscored Yemen's role in confronting global arrogance and supporting the oppressed in Gaza, attributing this stance to Imam Ali's culture of rejecting oppression and advocating for justice.
The meeting concluded by stressing the importance of this spiritual connection for the nation's contemporary challenges, particularly concerning Palestine.
