Official with the Gaza Medical Relief Society Bassam Zaqout confirmed that aid centers have turned into death traps, and people are dying daily.
Zaqout said in press statements on Tuesday that the number of martyrs on Tuesday near Netzarim aid center has risen to 17, noting that the injuries directly near the aid centers are fatal.
He pointed out that the food distributed at the aid centers is very meager and insufficient, stressing that people are falling into the streets from extreme hunger.
Zaqout stated that the total number of martyrs near the aid centers has reached 130, in addition to approximately 1,000 wounded.
He emphasized that the aid centers meet only 1% of the needs and are purely propaganda-based.
