Ramallah - Saba:

Settlers attacked lands in the town of Sinjil and the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Monday evening.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa), eyewitnesses in the town of Sinjil reported that settlers attacked lands in al-Ma'ashriya and Batn al-Halawa areas north of the town this evening.

They also graze their cows on the crops of local residents, damaging them. They also prevented residents from entering the area.

The witnesses added that the settlers continue to be stationed on Tal al-Batin Mountain in the southern part of the town, noting that it is an archaeological site.

They also set up a tent there and assaulted residents. For her part, Iman Fuqaha, the public relations director of Sinjil Municipality, said that the enemy has transformed half of Sinjil's land area into military and settlement zones, and has surrounded the town with a barbed wire wall.

Fuqaha noted that farmers have suffered heavy losses as a result of the targeting of the hill plain occupied by settlers, who have stolen their wheat crops.

In al-Mughayyir, settlers continued to set up a tent east of the village, near residents' homes, and assaulted residents there and any citizen found on their land.

In the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, Israeli enemy forces stormed the village on Monday evening, while settlers closed its main entrance.

The Wafa news agency reported that an Israeli army force stormed the village, fired sound bombs into the village, and detained a number of young men.

Meanwhile, dozens of settlers closed the main entrance to the village and performed Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli forces, for the third consecutive day and the eighth time in the past 13 days.
