Gaza – Saba:
Munir al-Barsh, Director-General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, issued a dire warning today, stating that hospitals in the Gaza Strip are without electricity or fuel, leading to patients dying of suffocation.
In a press statement, a copy of it received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), al-Barsh highlighted that children in incubators are dying due to the power outage and fuel scarcity. He also noted that remaining medicines in refrigerators are vulnerable to spoilage.
Al-Barsh stressed that the current electricity and fuel rationing plan is "not sufficient to provide treatment and save lives." He further accused the "occupation" of preventing international organizations from delivering fuel to hospitals.
