Tunis - Saba:

The Tunisian Football Federation announced on Monday the cancellation of the friendly match scheduled to bring together the Carthage Eagles against the Central African Republic in Morocco.

The Tunisian Football Federation said in a statement on its Facebook page: "The friendly match scheduled for today, Monday, between our national team and the Central African Republic at Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca (Morocco) has been canceled due to a strike by the players of the aforementioned team."

The Tunisian national team played two friendly matches last week, winning the first against Burkina Faso 2-0 in Tunis, and losing the second, held in Fez, to hosts Morocco 2-0.

These matches are part of the Carthage Eagles' preparations for the rest of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. Tunisia leads Group 8 in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup with 16 points, four points ahead of second-place Namibia.
