Canberra - Saba:
A number of energy sector experts has emphasized the importance of accelerating the implementation of renewable energy projects in Australia, including solar and wind energy projects, as well as enhancing support for solar energy storage systems in homes, which contributes to achieving sustainability and clean energy goals.
This came during a panel discussion held at the Energy Policy Conference in Sydney, where participants highlighted the importance of increasing the sector's capacity to meet the growing demand for renewable energy solutions and enhancing the readiness of related infrastructure.
The Australian government announced a $2.3 billion policy to support solar energy storage systems at the home level, through discounts and incentives for consumers, as part of the national drive towards carbon neutrality by 2050.
