Ramallah - Saba:
Israeli enemy forces raided Al Jazeera's office in Ramallah in the West Bank and decided to renew its closure for 60 days.
Last April, Israeli forces renewed the decision to close the office for an additional 60 days, continuing the ban on the channel's operations in the Palestinian territories.
Last September, the Israeli army raided Al Jazeera's Ramallah office by military order and served its staff with a closure order. It subsequently confiscated all equipment and documents and banned employees from using their vehicles.
In May 2024, the Israeli government approved a proposal by war criminal Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Communications Minister Shlomo Karai to close Al Jazeera's offices.
The decision took immediate effect upon the Minister of Communications' signature, under what is known as "Al Jazeera Law."
