Thousands of people took to the streets across Amran governorate on Friday after Eid al-Adha prayers to express strong solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The protests, led by local officials, condemned what they described as brutal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation and criticized the ongoing silence of the international community and Arab regimes.
Protesters denounced the recent U.S. veto at the UN, calling it a clear indication of American complicity in Israel’s enemy aggression. The protesters also rejected any attempts at normalization with Israeli enemy, reaffirming that the Palestinian cause remains central to Yemen’s national and political stance.
Participants praised Yemen’s armed forces for their deterrent operations in support of Gaza and expressed readiness to confront any threats to the country’s sovereignty.
Protest statements also highlighted the importance of internal unity and extended Eid congratulations to the Revolution Leader and the President of the Supreme Political Council.
