Massive public protests erupted across Dhale’ governorate on Friday, following Eid al-Adha prayers, in fervent support of Gaza and the Palestinian people.
Led by acting governor Abdullatif al-Shaghdari, participants chanted angry slogans condemning the Zionist entity's crimes against civilians in Gaza. They reiterated Yemen's firm stance of unwavering support for the Palestinian people until the liberation of all occupied territories and al-Aqsa Mosque.
Statements from the rallies highlighted the unprecedented tragedy faced by Palestinians due to genocide and starvation, citing American complicity and unprecedented Arab and Islamic inaction.
Protesters renewed full solidarity with Palestinians, asserting, "you are not alone," and strongly condemned the U.S. veto in the UN Security Council as proof of its partnership in Israeli crimes.
The protesters called on Arab and Islamic nations to fulfill their responsibilities, warning against divine retribution for inaction. The Acting governor also performed Eid prayers in Damt.
