Gaza - (Saba):

An Israeli reserve officer said that the Israeli army has a "prevailing assumption" that the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" collects intelligence on army officers and soldiers and their movements around the clock.

The Israeli Walla News website quoted a reserve officer as saying, "Hamas uses remote surveillance, binoculars, and drones to gather information."

The reserve officer on the Gaza Front added, "Hamas' use of drones was present at the beginning of the war (of aggression), then disappeared and has recently returned." He confirmed, "Hamas has returned to using drones; this means it feels comfortable enough."

This week, the Israeli army acknowledged the death of one soldier and the serious injury of another in battles in Shuja'iyya, north of the Gaza Strip, on June 4.
