Bonyan Development Foundation on Friday launched its Eid al-Adha meat distribution project, benefiting the poor and needy in the capital Sana'a and the governorates of Sana'a, Amran, and Mahweet.
Assistant Undersecretary of the Capital Sana'a Ismail al-Jarmouzi praised Bonyan's role in development and relief, calling on businessmen to support such charitable initiatives.
He highlighted Bonyan's nine consecutive years of assisting needy families, providing aid to over 41,000 families through programs like "Etaam," which includes daily bread distribution and Ramadan food baskets.
Jamal Sharaf al-Din, Head of Support Operations, stated the project involves distributing 41 tons of meat across hundreds of points in the target areas, with over 1,000 volunteers. He also noted the foundation's charitable bakeries produce over 412,500 loaves daily for 42,500 families.
