Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the proposal received from the United States “lacks clarity and raises many questions.”
According to Iran’s official news agency, Araghchi said, “This proposal contains several issues that are not completely clear,” adding, “We will provide an appropriate and necessary response in the coming days, in accordance with our principles and taking into account the interests of the Iranian people.”
He stressed that “the continued enrichment of uranium within Iranian territory is our red line, and this is a confirmed reality.”
His remarks came during a ceremony for the signing of the translation of his book The Power of Negotiation, held in Beirut on Tuesday.
