Gaza - Saba:
The Palestinian Liberation Movement affirmed that the Zionist enemy army’s deliberate targeting of hospitals, medical supply warehouses, and healthcare facilities—most recently the destruction of the "Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center" in the northern Gaza Strip—constitutes a systematic war crime aimed at completely paralyzing the health sector and crippling medical services.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) on Tuesday, the movement stated that the Zionist enemy persists in its criminal actions, intensifying its genocidal war primarily targeting children, women, and innocent civilians. This comes amid a severe shortage of medical supplies and the closure of crossings for over three months, preventing their entry. The enemy remains indifferent to the large numbers of martyrs and wounded overcrowding hospitals, as seen at Nasser Medical Hospital, due to the majority of Gaza’s healthcare facilities being rendered nonfunctional.
The movement urged the United Nations, the World Health Organization (WHO), and all international medical bodies to take immediate action and pressure the occupation to cease targeting hospitals and medical centers, which are protected under international and humanitarian law.
The statement called for efforts to open the crossings and allow the entry of medical and health supplies, as well as all necessities for the healthcare sector, to help it cope with the occupation’s war crimes—crimes that the world continues to ignore. It emphasized the need to preserve what remains of humanity in Gaza and across the world.
