Tulkarm - Saba:
Israeli enemy forces continued their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 128th consecutive day, and for the 115th day against the Nour Shams camp, amid widespread field escalation and ongoing attacks.
This morning, Tuesday, enemy forces continued their provocations in the city. Their military vehicles patrolled the main streets, specifically the street surrounding the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, honking their horns continuously and driving against traffic, in a provocative scene that sparked tension among residents.
In a related development, enemy forces tightened their security measures at the Anab military checkpoint east of Tulkarm, stopping and thoroughly searching vehicles, interrogating passengers and checking their IDs, and preventing Palestinians from the 1948 territories from entering the city, according to the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA.
The enemy continues to impose a tight siege on the Tulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps. Its forces are deployed in the alleys and neighborhoods, preventing residents from reaching their homes to check on them or retrieve their belongings, and opening fire directly at anyone who attempts to approach.
This morning, enemy forces raided a number of homes on Al-Sikka Street, adjacent to the Employees' Housing District in the Aktaba suburb east of the city, searching and interrogating residents. This was accompanied by a widespread deployment of infantry soldiers in the area, especially those opposite Nour Shams camp, with the occasional sound of live ammunition being heard.
Over the past two weeks, Nour Shams camp has witnessed a massive demolition campaign targeting more than 20 residential buildings, damaging neighboring homes. Last week, Israeli forces served immediate demolition notices to 58 residential buildings in Tulkarm camp, comprising more than 250 housing units. This is part of a Zionist plan to demolish 106 buildings in both camps (58 in Tulkarm camp and 48 in Nour Shams), with the aim of clearing roads and changing their geographical features.
Israeli forces are seizing a number of residential buildings on Nablus Street and the northern neighborhood of the city after forcibly evacuating their residents. They have converted these buildings into military barracks, some of which have been under Israeli control for more than three months.
Nablus Street, which connects Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, has also suffered significant damage due to earth mounds placed by Israeli forces several months ago, impeding vehicle movement and increasing the suffering of residents.
This ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens of injuries and arrests have also been reported, along with widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.
According to the latest data, the escalation has displaced more than 5,000 families from the two camps, representing more than 25,000 citizens. At least 400 homes have been completely destroyed, and 2,573 others have been partially damaged. The entrances to the camps remain blocked with barricades, transforming them into almost lifeless areas.
