Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, released footage on Thursday documenting its fighters downing an enemy reconnaissance drone belonging to the Zionist occupation army.
The footage also showed the Brigades’ fighters bombarding a gathering of enemy soldiers stationed east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City with mortar shells, as part of ongoing resistance operations against the continuous Zionist aggression on the Strip.
In a brief statement, Al-Quds Brigades emphasized that these operations come as a direct response to the enemy’s ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza Strip, where the occupation commits daily massacres targeting civilians, houses, and infrastructure.
The release of this footage coincides with an unprecedented military escalation in Gaza, as enemy warplanes continue to launch intense airstrikes, while Palestinian resistance forces respond with concentrated retaliatory operations across all fronts—reinforcing the persistence of mutual deterrence despite the enemy’s aerial and technological superiority.
