Ramallah - Saba:

A 12-year-old Palestinian child and a 53-year-old man were injured Thursday during an Israeli military raid on Birzeit town in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported its teams treated the child for gunshot wounds to both legs sustained during the invasion before transferring him to hospital.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that Israeli forces:
- Stormed Birzeit commercial district
- Raided shops
- Fired live ammunition and tear gas at protesters
- Ransacked the home of freed detainee Salama Qatawi

Later the Red Crescent confirmed evacuating the older man who suffered beatings by Israeli soldiers
