"With Gaza, Our Holidays Are Victories" art exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, concluded on Wednesday in the capital Sana'a.
The four-day exhibition showcased over 500 creative paintings by talented summer school students, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people. The event coincided with Yemen's 35th National Day and its victories over "American arrogance."
Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei highlighted the importance of the exhibition, praising the students' creative spirit and their artistic depiction of events in Yemen and the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza. He also noted their expression of Yemeni unity.
Dr. al-Yafei commended the exhibition's success and the honoring of the artists whose work conveyed the Yemeni people's emotions regarding the Palestinian cause and the importance of resistance.
He affirmed the Ministry's ongoing commitment to supporting creative artists and works that champion the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the interconnectedness of Yemeni support and Palestinian issues.
He also praised Yemen's leadership and people for their supportive stance on Palestine, contrasting it with the "shameful silence" of other Arab and Islamic regimes.
Mohammed Al-Abed, Secretary-General of the Cultural Front to Confront Aggression, underscored the significance of cultural works in supporting the Palestinian cause and highlighting Yemen's position. He noted that the art displayed transcended local boundaries in its powerful expression of the Palestinian struggle.
