Judicial Council approves establishment of new divisions & courts for Judicial Inspection Authority

Sana'a (Saba) – The Supreme Judicial Council, in its meeting today, chaired by Judge Dr. Abdul-Momen Shuja'uddin, Chairman of the Council, approved the establishment of a Public Funds Division at the Court of Appeal in Ibb Governorate and a Personal Affairs Division at the Court of Appeal in Dhamar Governorate.
The Council also approved the establishment of a Criminal Court of First Instance in Sana'a Governorate and a Court of First Instance in the Ibb Countryside District, this was based on a proposal from the Chairman of the Judicial Inspection Authority and the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, this is part of the effort to enhance the quality and specialized performance of courts, expedite the adjudication of cases, and bring justice closer to citizens.
