Hodeida - (Saba):
Engineer Adel Margham, Head of the Customs Authority, inspected workflow at Hodeida port and Salif customs.
He was briefed on the damage to customs infrastructure caused by the aggression and the direct targeting of Hodeida ports.
During the visit, Engineer Margham listened to an explanation from customs officials about the damage to customs facilities and the measures taken to address the effects of the destruction and mitigate its repercussions on workflow and services provided.
The Head of the Authority also reviewed the level of customs performance and the procedures followed to facilitate the movement of goods and the smooth flow of essential goods through the ports, ensuring the local market is covered with these goods. He praised the efforts of customs personnel and their commitment to performing their duties to the fullest extent possible despite the difficult circumstances facing the country.
