Gaza – Saba:
The Government Media Office in Gaza expressed deep astonishment on Tuesday evening over statements made by the self-proclaimed "Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation" (GHF), which included false allegations accusing Palestinian resistance factions of obstructing access to so-called "safe distribution sites" in the Strip.
In a statement, the office asserted that the claim that resistance factions had set up barriers preventing civilians from accessing aid is a complete fabrication, entirely detached from reality, and represents a dangerous deviation by an organization that claims to uphold humanitarian neutrality.
The statement read: "Documented facts, confirmed by field reports and even Israeli media, prove that the real cause of delays and the collapse in aid distribution is the tragic chaos caused by the mismanagement of the very company affiliated with the Israeli occupation’s administration in these buffer zones. This led to thousands of desperate civilians—under siege and starvation—storming distribution centers and seizing food, amid gunfire from the occupation forces."
It added that the so-called "safe distribution sites" are nothing but "racist buffer ghettos" established under enemy supervision in exposed and isolated military zones. These sites represent a coercive model of deceptive "humanitarian corridors," used as a cover to advance the occupation’s security agenda while enforcing policies of starvation and blackmail—especially amid the systematic blockade preventing aid from entering through official crossings and neutral international organizations.
The statement further noted that the American-Israeli GHF—an entity tied to the occupation—has lost all credibility and alleged neutrality by parroting the occupation’s false narratives. It holds both GHF and the occupation morally and legally responsible for covering up the ongoing genocide against over 2.4 million Palestinians in Gaza, through the total cutoff of food, medicine, water, and fuel.
The statement continued: "With direct support from the occupation authorities, this foundation seized aid trucks belonging to an international humanitarian organization working in Gaza, after misleading the organization into believing the aid would be delivered officially and in coordination. Instead, under the protection of the occupation, the so-called GHF company diverted these trucks to its own distribution centers in the buffer zones, distributing them to civilians exhausted by systematic siege and starvation."
The Government Media Office stressed that promoting distorted narratives after such a crime is unacceptable, constituting a falsification of facts and complicity in misleading global public opinion.
It also issued a stern warning against attempts by certain organizations to engage in politicized humanitarian efforts that align with the enemy’s narrative—directly or indirectly legitimizing the blockade, isolation, and starvation of civilians—rather than exposing these crimes and working earnestly to end them.
