Mahmoud Mardawi, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), praised the steadfastness of the people of the West Bank and their heroic resistance to the escalating settler attacks against Palestinians and their property.
The latest example was the resistance of residents of the villages of Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah to an attack launched by dozens of settlers on the Marj Sa'i plain, northwest of Ramallah.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Mardawi said, "The Palestinians prove every time their adherence to their land and their willingness to defend it against the crimes of the occupation and the settlers." He added, "The escalation of settler attacks and the residents' resistance to them reflects the authentic, resilient character of our people."
He called for the need to confront and confront settlers, using all available means to deter them and put an end to their ongoing crimes across the West Bank.
