Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares stated that his country is considering imposing sanctions on "Israel" and called for the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid.
During his meeting with his Norwegian counterpart on Sunday, Albares added, "We will raise our voices to stop the war in Gaza in defense of justice and the dignity of the Palestinians."
He emphasized, "We have a responsibility to defend justice and peace—Europe’s dignity is at stake."
Albares continued, "We are not here to lecture anyone, but recognizing Palestine is the way to protect peace."
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy has been committing genocidal crimes and enforcing a complete blockade on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. These actions have resulted in over 175,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to more than 14,000 missing persons.
