The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" stated that Israeli occupation soldiers opening direct fire toward 25 Arab , European ambassadors and diplomats during their visit to Jenin camp reflects the occupation's arrogance, tyranny, and violation of all international norms and conventions.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the movement emphasized that Israel’s ongoing aggression against Jenin and its camp for the fifth consecutive month, alongside its continuous assaults on Tulkarm, Nablus, and other West Bank governorates, represents a desperate attempt to implement annexation and displacement plans by intensifying settlements and seizing land from its rightful owners.
Hamas affirmed that "no matter how far the occupation goes in its crimes, it will fail to achieve its goals in the West Bank, Gaza, and every inch of our occupied land, thanks to the steadfastness of our people and their brave resistance."
The movement called on the international community to increase pressure to halt the occupation’s crimes, support the Palestinian people’s resilience and their right to self-determination, and establish their independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
On Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces targeted an Arab and foreign diplomatic delegation near Jenin camp as they were assessing the dire humanitarian situation caused by months of Israeli aggression, which has led to the camp’s destruction and the displacement of 22,000 residents.
