Khaled Al-Madani, the First Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, inaugurated on Tuesday the competitions of the fourth forum for talents and creators of summer schools in Shu’ub District under the title "Knowledge and Jihad."
The competitions, which will last for four days and are supervised by the Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses in the Secretariat, will see students competing in Quran memorization and recitation, the summer curriculum, innovation, public speaking , oration, poetry, chants, storytelling, drawing, theater, and folkloric arts.
Al-Madani, along with the mobilization official in the district, Abdullah Al-Koul, the director of the educational zone, Khaled Al-Jamrah, and the head of the Talented and Creative Committee in the Secretariat’s education sector, Ammar Al-Tuwaiti, listened to samples of performances by talented participants, reflecting their benefit from the summer programs and activities.
The First Undersecretary praised the efforts of the forum’s organizers and its diverse, high-quality competitions, which contribute to discovering talented individuals in various fields.
He emphasized the importance of summer activities and courses in building a cultured, creative, and conscious generation, armed with knowledge, Quranic culture, and faith-based identity. He urged everyone to intensify efforts and mobilize support to ensure the success of the summer courses and achieve their desired goals.
He also highlighted the shared responsibility in protecting generations from the dangers of soft war, misguided and destructive cultures targeting youth, and in instilling values, principles, morals, and faith-based upbringing.
