A two-day training workshop on the executive mechanism for preparing the 1447 AH annual plan began on Tuesday in Sa'ada province, organized by the province’s Planning Sector.
The workshop aims to train 37 planning specialists from across the province’s districts and executive offices on the procedures and frameworks for drafting the 1447 AH plan, in line with the directives issued by the Planning Sector of the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the opening session, the Secretary-General of the Province’s Local Council, Mohammed Al-Ammad, emphasized the importance of applying the knowledge gained from the workshop to develop a plan that meets the needs of the province’s residents.
He highlighted the necessity of prioritizing local needs, updating the current situation analysis, and identifying key projects to achieve development goals. He also stressed the importance of training local cadres in strategic planning to better serve the community.
Meanwhile, Dr. Nasser Harban, head of the Planning and Development Sector, outlined the core objectives of the executive mechanism for preparing the 1447 AH development plan and its role in assessing the current state of development.
He explained that the first day of the workshop targets 17 trainees from the Planning Sector across the province’s districts, while the second day focuses on 20 trainees from the executive offices in the province’s center. This will enable participants to prepare the plan efficiently, adhering to the required timeline and local priorities.
