Finance Minister Abduljabbar Ahmed met on Sunday with the Chairman of the Capital’s Chamber of Commerce, Ali Al-Hadi, along with a number of merchants.
During the meeting, they discussed government measures and incentives granted to the economic sector to support national industries and localize the production of certain goods and products.
The talks also addressed procedures to facilitate , simplify tax and customs measures, aiming to enhance partnership with the private sector to achieve economic advancement amid the current economic conditions facing the country.
The meeting emphasized the need for serious efforts based on integrated strategic plans to localize industries , identify goods that can achieve self-sufficiency and domestic production, contributing to the support of the national economy on the path toward comprehensive self-sufficiency.
Additionally, joint work mechanisms were reviewed to unify and integrate efforts between the government and the private sector to ensure the achievement of sustainable development goals.
