Ramallah - Saba:
Israeli forces stormed the village of Deir Ibzi', west of Ramallah in the West Bank, on Wednesday.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported, citing local Palestinian sources, that Israeli forces stormed the al-Dawara neighborhood in the village, accompanied by bulldozers, in preparation for a demolition operation.
The same sources reported that on April 16, 2025, Israeli authorities served demolition notices for seven homes in the village of Deir Ibzi', west of Ramallah, on the pretext of building without a permit.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli authorities carried out 73 demolition operations last April, affecting 152 structures, including 96 inhabited homes, 10 uninhabited homes, and 34 agricultural and other structures. These demolition orders were concentrated in the Tubas Governorate (59 structures), the Hebron Governorate (39 structures), and the Quds Governorate (17 structures).
Israeli authorities distributed 46 demolition notices for Palestinian structures, continuing their crackdown on Palestinian construction and the natural growth of Palestinian villages and towns, which is currently manifesting in a significant number of demolitions. The orders were concentrated in the Hebron Governorate (16), Ramallah (14), and Quds (12).
