Taiz undersecretary Abdulwasea al-Shamsi and Province Mobilization Officer Mohammed al-Khulaidi on Saturday launched agricultural activities in summer schools, in coordination with the Agriculture Sector.
Al-Shamsi emphasized the leadership's interest in agriculture as a national development priority, highlighting the importance of equipping students with agricultural and development skills for the country's future, improving living standards, and enhancing food security.
Al-Khulaidi stressed that agricultural knowledge is a key focus of national development alongside other educational activities, requiring trained scientific personnel.
Province's Agriculture Sector Official Abdullah al-Janadi expressed hope that students would benefit from the agricultural program, learning about methods, fertilization, and pruning, and acknowledged teachers' role in providing this knowledge.
