Sana'a - Saba:

Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei on Saturday inspected the restoration project for the western wall of the National Museum, which is over 80 meters long and damaged by humidity.

Accompanied by Acting Executive Director of the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund Essam al-Sunaini, the Minister reviewed the progress and ensured adherence to archaeological specifications.

The Minister emphasized the importance of preserving the wall's historical significance, noting that the restoration is funded by the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund (85%) and the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums (15%).

He stressed the need to protect historical landmarks reflecting Yemen's ancient civilization.
