Amran - Saba:
A meeting held on Saturday in Amran province, chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Ja'man, discussed the performance level of the health sector during the year 1446 AH.
The meeting, attended by the Director of the Health Office in the provincee, Dr. Mohammed Al-Houthi, reviewed ways to enhance the efficiency of services in public and rural hospitals in the province center, districts, and health facilities, as well as the challenges facing operations and possible solutions.
During the meeting, Governor Ja'man praised the efforts of the Health Office leadership, administration, and staff in alleviating citizens' suffering and improving healthcare services despite limited resources amid the ongoing aggression and blockade.
He stressed the importance of collective efforts to enhance health and medical services for citizens, whether in the province center or the districts, emphasizing the commitment to qualifying ,#×3 training medical staff and accommodating medical students from the College of Medicine in various health facilities and hospitals across the governorate, particularly in rural areas suffering from a shortage of medical personnel.
Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Houthi presented a report on the Health Office's activities and the level of services in hospitals, centers, and health facilities.
He highlighted efforts to support the health sector and find alternative solutions to compensate for the lack of donor support, affirming that the office’s plan includes qualifying medical staff, developing medical and therapeutic services in all hospitals—especially rural ones—and improving their efficiency.
