The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine stated that "the Zionist enemy forces’ decision to launch drone strikes on the Freedom Flotilla, which was heading to break the siege on Gaza in international waters off Malta last night, is a blatant disregard for all humanitarian and moral values, and new evidence of the enemy’s use of starvation as a weapon in its war of extermination against our people in Gaza Strip."
In a statement published on its Telegram channel, the movement said: "This aggression, which endangered the lives of more than thirty activists driven by their living conscience and representing the aspirations of hundreds of millions of people worldwide, is a brazen mockery of all international laws and norms—particularly the deliberations of the International Court of Justice and the decisions of the International Criminal Court—and a shameless defiance of the will of free nations."
