Intisaf Org condemns US massacre in Thaqban, Bani al-Harith

Sana'a - Saba:

The Intisaf Organization for Women and Children's Rights condemned the crime committed by the American aggression when it targeted three homes in the Thaqban area of the Bani Al-Harith District in the capital, Sana'a.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the organization held America responsible for all the crimes it committed against civilians and civilian objects, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the targeting of innocent civilians in any way.

The statement indicated that these crimes amount to crimes against humanity, as they violate the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality.

It also held the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their shameful silence and shirking of their duties, which encouraged the United States to continue committing further war crimes against civilians. It called for the investigation and criminal accountability of all those proven to be involved in these crimes.
