Dhale’ - Saba:
Acting Governor of Al-Dhale’ Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, along with Dr. Ali Jahaf, Deputy Minister of Health for Therapeutic Medicine, inaugurated on Tuesday the Dialysis Center at May 22 Hospital in Jubin District at a cost of $160,000.
During the inauguration, Al-Shaghdari praised the community's role in implementing numerous service projects, including healthcare initiatives. He emphasized that the dialysis center will alleviate the suffering of patients from the district who previously had to travel to distant areas to receive treatment and undergo dialysis sessions.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Health affirmed the ministry's commitment to providing medical services in both urban and remote areas. He explained that 150 dialysis sessions for patients have been approved at the center, costing $5,000, in addition to equipping the center with dialysis machines at a cost of $60,000. He also acknowledged the community's contributions and the local authorities' efforts in delivering healthcare services to patients.
