Tulkarm - SABA:

The Zionist enemy intensified the movement of its military vehicles in the city of Tulkarm, its suburbs, and its two refugee camps on Saturday evening, setting up several flying checkpoints on main roads.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), enemy vehicles were stationed at the Shweika roundabout in the northern district of the city and on Al-Aleimi Street near the courthouse complex in the western district, where vehicles were stopped, searched, and passengers subjected to field interrogations.

The report added that enemy forces raided a café near Al-Aleimi roundabout and took several young men for field questioning before releasing them later after detention and interrogation.

The neighborhoods of Iktaba and the Employee Housing area east of Tulkarm also witnessed a heavy spread of enemy foot patrols, accompanied by indiscriminate live fire and the searching of passing vehicles.

Eyewitnesses reported the arrest of a young man from the suburb, who was taken through the Nur Shams Camp Street before being released.

In Nur Shams refugee camp, several explosions were heard, accompanied by heavy gunfire and the use of stun grenades, while enemy bulldozers closed off the entrance to the Al-Mahjar neighborhood with earth mounds, along with closing several roads leading to the camp entrances.

These movements come as the Zionist aggression against the city and its camp enters its 90th day, and against Nur Shams Camp its 77th day, amid an escalating assault that has worsened the suffering of residents, especially after they were subjected to forced displacement from their homes in the two camps and some neighborhoods of the city, particularly in the eastern and northern areas, in addition to widespread destruction of property and infrastructure.
