UN urges India, Pakistan to exercise maximum restraint after Kashmir attack
[Fri, 25 Apr 2025 18:19:24 +0300]

New York - Saba:
The United Nations has urged both India and Pakistan to exercise maximum restraint as the two countries impose reciprocal diplomatic measures in response to the armed attack that killed at least 26 people in Indian-administered Kashmir.

"We call on both governments to exercise maximum restraint and ensure that the situation does not deteriorate further," UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in remarks reported by Channel News Asia in its English-language edition on Friday. He expressed his belief that any differences between Pakistan and India can be resolved peacefully through joint talks.
