Sana’a - Saba:
A project to plant 11,000 sidr tree saplings was launched in Al-Haymah Al-Dakhiliyah District, Sana’a province, as part of efforts to support the agricultural renaissance revolution across various regions.

During the inauguration, Fayez Al-Hanmi, the Mobilization Officer in Sana’a province, Kamal Al-Askari, the District Director, and Mohammed Miftah, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit, emphasized that the sidr tree cultivation and expansion plan aligns with leadership directives to combat desertification, protect the environment, enhance beekeeping areas, and provide natural nutrition sources to boost local honey production.

For his part, the head of the Bani Amr Development Association, Mohammed Al-Qaqqa, praised the efforts of the provincial and district leaderships in adopting agricultural development projects and expanding their future horizons in Al-Hayma Inner District.

He stressed that the development associations have succeeded in raising the level of awareness among farmers about agricultural development trends, in moving forward towards the goal of achieving food security, which is considered a major safety net in light of the current challenges.
