Sana'a - Saba:
The National Team tasked with supporting the implementation of the project to simplify transaction procedures and combat extortion and abuse of influence in public service delivery held a meeting on Wednesday, chaired by Deputy Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development Anas Sufyan.

The team reviewed a report detailing the progress in preparing service guides in key public service units, models and criteria for evaluating service delivery mechanisms and centers, and the requirements for implementing the evaluation process in targeted units.

The team approved the evaluation models and criteria, its timeline, and the formation of evaluation teams. These teams will include representatives from oversight bodies, security agencies, the Ministries of Civil Service and Communications and Information Technology, and the Prime Minister's Office.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister emphasized the significance of the team's work, assigned by the Prime Minister, and its anticipated outcomes: improving public service delivery mechanisms and quality, and eliminating extortion, bribery, and influence peddling.

He stressed that the evaluation process must be conducted with utmost objectivity, integrity, and credibility to accurately assess the current state of service provision, identify shortcomings, weaknesses, and imbalances, and implement effective corrective measures in collaboration with all team members and the entities being evaluated.
