Ramallah - Saba:
The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Authority revealed today, Monday, that the female prisoners in Damon Prison are suffering from inhumane and extremely difficult detention conditions.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the Authority said that the food is bad in quantity , quality, causes digestive diseases, and that all of them have lost a lot of weight.

The Authority added that prisoner Karam Muhammad Musa (53 years old), from the town of Surra in Nablus governorate, who was arrested on 2/25/2025, was detained in a blood-stained , very dirty cell, with no place to pray, no food, a small mattress that she and another prisoner took turns on.

Prisoner Karam indicated that the food she was given when she finished the interrogation caused her constipation, and is not enough for the number of prisoners in the room, as the enemy prison administration provides one plate of legumes for eight prisoners, while the duration of the furah has become one hour, which the prisoners use to take a shower.

During five months of detention, prisoner Hanin Muhammad Jaber (44 years old) from Nur Shams camp lost eight kilograms of her weight as a result of malnutrition. Jaber was arrested on December 3, 2024, while she was on a walk with her children in the park, on charges of harboring and feeding her son, whom the enemy authorities claim is "wanted" by them.

As for prisoner Fidaa Suhail Assaf (49 years old) from Kafr Laqif town in Qalqilya governorate, she has been suffering from leukemia for a year, that is, before her arrest, and enemy forces raided her home on 02/24/2025 and arrested her under the pretext of incitement through social networking sites, so she was interrogated , transferred to "Damon" prison, and a court session was set for her on 05/21/2025.

The Authority indicated that her health condition is stable and she has been taking the required medications on a regular basis for two weeks.

The Authority's lawyers also visited Shahd Majed Hassan, 23, from Ramallah, who has been detained since 05/03/2025 and was sentenced to four months of administrative detention.

Hassan said: "I was arrested from my home, then transferred to Ofer Prison, then to Beit El, then to Hasharon Prison for one night, then to Damon.

"It was a journey of torture, the treatment was very bad, I was handcuffed all the time, I was subjected to insults and abuse along the way.
