A meeting in Al-Safiyah District, chaired by the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Obbad, discussed today the performance of the local council and executive offices.
The meeting, which was attended by the heads of the Social Affairs Committee in the Secretariat, Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, and Planning Committee, Sharaf Al-Hadi, the Director of the District, Saleh Al-Maysari, and several members of the Administrative Board and directors of the Executive Offices, reviewed the work mechanism and the holding of periodic meetings for the local council, the Administrative Board, and the Executive Office during the current year.
It also addressed aspects related to improving the performance of the executive and service offices, activating community initiatives, and enhancing their contribution to the implementation of service projects, for which the local authority contributes 75 percent of the cost of each project.
The Mayor of the Capital emphasized the need to redouble efforts to improve service and development performance and implement community initiative projects to contribute to improving services for citizens.
