Liverpool suffered a 3-2 defeat to host Fulham at Craven Cottage in the 31st round of the Premier League.

Liverpool took the lead through Argentine star Alexis Mac Allister in the 14th minute, but Fulham equalized through Ryan Sessegnon in the 23rd minute.

Fulham took the lead in the 32nd minute through Nigerian Alex Iwobi, before striker Rodrigo Muniz extended the lead for Fulham with a third goal in the 37th minute.

Liverpool reduced the deficit through Colombian winger Luis Diaz in the 72nd minute, but his goal wasn't enough to save the Reds from defeat.

Liverpool suffered their second Premier League defeat, the first against Nottingham Forest, 1-0, in Round 4 on September 14, 2024.

Liverpool suffered their first away defeat this season in the Premier League and their first defeat in the competition in 2025.

With this victory, Fulham moved up to 48 points, moving into eighth place in the Premier League table, one point ahead of Brighton.

Liverpool, on the other hand, remained at 73 points after their second defeat of the season, but they still hold the top spot in the Premier League, 11 points ahead of second-place Arsenal.
