German club Bayern Munich officially announced the departure of its player Thomas Müller at the end of this season after deciding not to renew his contract.

The club stated in a statement on its official website: "The club and Thomas Müller, 35, have jointly decided to end a unique career spanning 25 years and crowned with 33 titles this summer."
