The office of the General Authority of Zakat in Al-Dhale Governorate launched a project to distribute Zakat al-Fitr and cash assistance to the poor and needy in the governorate.
During the inauguration, Deputy Governor Hussein Al-Madhaji stressed the importance of this project in improving the living conditions of the poor and alleviating their suffering, praising the efforts of the General Authority of Zakat in collecting and distributing resources according to Sharia banks.
For his part, Director of the Zakat Office Ahmed Al-Dhahyani explained that the total number of families eligible for Zakat al-Fitr in the governorate's directorates reached 11,374 families, with a total amount of 227,480,000 riyals, noting that the distribution is carried out through quick transfers to facilitate the delivery of cash assistance to beneficiaries.
