The Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, and the Command of the Sixth Military Region today announced the passing of Brigadier General Mohammed Yahya Ahmed al-Ghouli, Commander of the Ninth Mechanized Infantry Brigade.

He passed away after a life dedicated to struggle and service within the nation's armed forces.

An obituary statement lauded Brigadier General al-Ghouli's virtues, leadership qualities, and unwavering commitment throughout his military career.

The Ministry of Defense, General Staff, and Sixth Military Region Command extended their deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the deceased's family, relatives, and the entire al-Ghouli family. They prayed for divine mercy upon him and for patience and solace for his loved ones.
